- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 1/4 cup wheat bran
- 1 tbsp chia seed
- 2 tsp butter
- 1/4 cup non-dairy milk
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp dried cranberries
- 2 small bananas
- 2 cups water
- Bring the water to a boil and add the oatmeal. Reduce heat so it doesn't boil over.
- About 4 minutes in add the wheat bran and stir.
- Turn off the heat and add the chia. Stir well.
- Portion into two bowls. And split the remaining ingredients between those.
- Optional: Add a dash of cinnamon to each.
